While McEnany was studying at Harvard, she worked as a commentator on CNN. She became a Trump supporter in 2016 as initially, she was what could be referred to as highly against him.

In August 2017, McEnany left CNN and then became a national spokesperson for the Republican National Committee. Since being assigned this post, she has consistently shown where she is a true Trump Supporter.
